These terms apply when you create an account and use Nitpick. They are written in plain words. If something is unclear, write to us at support@appsko.com.
Who we are
Nitpick is run by [TO FILL IN: legal name of the business], [TO FILL IN: business address], registered with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number [TO FILL IN: KvK number], VAT number [TO FILL IN: VAT number]. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean [TO FILL IN: legal name of the business], and "you" means the app builder who holds the account.
What Nitpick is
Nitpick is in-app feedback for mobile apps. It has three parts:
- a feedback component for SwiftUI and for React Native and Expo, which you (or your coding agent) add to your app;
- a platform with a dashboard, where you read the reports your app users send and change the feedback settings;
- a CLI and an MCP server, so your coding agent can fetch the reports and change the settings with a token from your account.
The platform does not run AI itself. Your coding agent does that work, under your own subscription with its provider.
Your account
An account belongs to one app builder. You create it and sign in with a link sent to your email address. A token for the CLI or MCP is issued only in the browser, and only while your subscription runs. Anyone who has one of your tokens can read the reports of your account, so keep your tokens to yourself. You can revoke a token in the dashboard.
Subscription and price
- The subscription costs $9 a month per account, excluding VAT. Paddle adds VAT where it is due.
- Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited) sells the subscription as merchant of record. That means you buy it from Paddle: Paddle charges you, handles VAT and sales tax, and sends the invoices. Paddle's own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment.
- There is no free trial. You need a running subscription to create an app or a token, so also to install the component.
- One subscription covers all apps of your account, within the limits below.
- The subscription runs month by month until you cancel it. How to cancel, and how refunds work, is on Cancellation and refunds.
When the subscription stops: locked, not broken
Your app users never see an error because a payment stopped. Below, "paid until" is the end of the last period you actually paid for.
| From | What happens |
|---|---|
| Paid until | Everything keeps working for 14 days. The dashboard shows a warning with the date on which new reports lock. |
| 14 days after paid until | The component keeps collecting reports, but new reports are locked: you see how many there are, not what they say. Reports that came in before can still be read and marked as resolved. |
| 44 days after paid until | The feedback tab disappears from your apps and the platform accepts no new reports. You can still read the reports that are not locked, but not change them. |
| 46 days after paid until | We delete the locked reports, with their screenshots. |
| 136 days after paid until | We delete the other reports, with their screenshots. |
If you pay again at any point, everything that is still there can be read at once, including the locked reports, and the feedback tab is back within a minute the next time the app starts. We email you when the 14 days begin, 3 days before new reports lock, and 7 days before each of the two deletions.
Limits
- Reports: at most 2,000 accepted reports per account per calendar month (in UTC). Locked reports count, and deleting a report does not lower the count. Above the limit, the platform accepts no new reports and the feedback tab is hidden until the first day of the next month.
- Screenshots: at most 1 MB and 4096 by 4096 pixels per screenshot.
- Apps and tokens: at most 50 apps and 25 tokens that are not revoked, per account. Above that, creating a new one fails until you remove one.
- Rate: at most 30 reports per minute per app and 10 per minute per IP address.
What you arrange yourself
- Your store listing. You declare in Apple App Privacy and Google Play Data safety what the component collects in your app. Our page Privacy and store forms has suggested answers.
- Your own privacy policy. Your app's privacy policy says that feedback goes to Nitpick as your service provider, and whether you let an AI tool read it. The same page has a paragraph you can adapt.
- Masking. You mask the views of your app that show sensitive data, so they are black on a screenshot.
- What your agent does. Your coding agent and the AI service behind it act for you. We do not control what your agent reads, changes or sends, or what its provider does with the reports. Comments come from your app users and can contain anything, so treat them as text from strangers.
- Your role under the GDPR. For the reports of your app users, you are the controller and we are your processor. Our Data Processing Agreement is part of these terms.
Fair use
Use Nitpick only within the law and for feedback that your app users choose to send. Do not try to get around the limits, read data of other accounts, or put a load on the platform that disturbs other users. If you break these terms, we may suspend or close your account. Where we can, we tell you first.
Liability
We build Nitpick with care, but we cannot promise that it is always available or free of errors. If we are liable to you, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Nitpick in the 12 months before the event that caused the damage. We are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost profit. These limits do not apply to damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, or where the law does not allow a limit.
Changes
We may change Nitpick and these terms. If a change matters for you, we tell you by email before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page shows the last change.
Law and disputes
Dutch law applies to these terms. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands. If you use Nitpick as a consumer, you keep the protection that the mandatory law of your country gives you.
